Privacy Policy
How information is handled when you read the guide, contact us or use its features.
Effective September 11, 2026. Tourism Space Coast is operated by The Travel Spark Company LLC. This policy explains how information is handled in connection with this website. Tourism Space Coast is an independent, nongovernmental travel guide. This policy covers this guide and its features; independent booking platforms and other websites have their own privacy policies.
Information you choose to provide
When you use the contact form, we process the name, email address, subject and message you enter to receive and handle your enquiry. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address, subscription preferences and related subscription records to send travel updates and manage your choices. Sending a contact message does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Please do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information through these forms.
Technical information and website operation
Hosting, delivery and security services may process technical information such as an IP address, browser or device details, requested pages, referral information, timestamps and diagnostic records. This information helps deliver the site, maintain reliability, identify errors and reduce misuse. Forms also use security tokens and temporary abuse controls. Authorized administrative access uses authentication and security functions that may involve cookies and access records.
How information is used
We use information as needed to provide the guide and features you request, respond to enquiries, manage newsletter subscriptions, understand feature performance, attribute qualifying referrals and protect the service. Information may also be used to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce the website’s terms. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular activity, that activity is subject to the relevant consent requirements.
Contact messages and newsletter services
Brevo supports contact-message delivery, newsletter subscriptions and email communications. Information needed for those purposes is processed through that service. Depending on the email settings in use, delivery status and engagement information may also be processed. You can use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email to stop those emails. Limited suppression information may be retained to respect that choice. See Brevo’s privacy information for information about its own practices.
Travel features, affiliate links and booking attribution
Tour and accommodation features may display information, images and availability supplied by travel services. Loading a third-party resource can disclose technical connection information to its provider. Following an affiliate link may record a click or pass a referral or campaign identifier so a resulting booking can be attributed. We may receive booking or commission reports containing attribution identifiers, transaction references, booking status or amounts associated with a qualifying referral.
We may earn a commission from qualifying bookings. Reservations and payments are handled by the provider or booking platform identified in the booking process. Read that service’s privacy policy before submitting information there. Our contact and newsletter forms do not ask for payment-card details and should not be used to send them.
Optional assistance and embedded services
Some optional features may use automated or AI services to help with travel questions. If you choose to use a feature, the text you submit, relevant page context and session information may be processed by the services supporting it. Session information may also be used to maintain the conversation or protect the feature from abuse. Avoid providing sensitive personal information. A response from a helper is not a booking confirmation or a substitute for checking important details with the responsible source.
Other optional content, such as maps or media, may involve a connection to its provider when used or loaded. The information handled depends on the feature and its configuration. The relevant service’s own notices apply to its independent processing.
Cookies, browser storage and choices
The site and its integrated features may use cookies or similar browser storage for functions such as maintaining a session, remembering preferences or dismissed panels, supporting requested features and attributing referrals. Your browser can help you control or delete cookies and local storage, although blocking them may affect functionality. Where a feature presents consent or preference controls, use those controls for the choices described there. Choices made on this site do not automatically change settings on an independent website you visit.
Service providers and other disclosures
Information may be handled by hosting, security, email and travel-feature service providers where needed for the purposes described here. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a lawful business transfer. Providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. The arrangements and protections applicable to that processing depend on the service and applicable law.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, including handling enquiries, maintaining subscriptions, protecting the site, attributing referrals and meeting legal obligations. Retention may differ between active records, service-provider records and backups. Removing an active record does not necessarily remove every backup copy immediately. We use measures intended to reduce security risks, but no website or transmission method can promise absolute security.
Requests about your information
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Use the Contact page to make a privacy request or ask about this policy. We may need to verify your request and may retain information when a legal obligation or permitted exception applies. You may also have the right to contact a relevant privacy authority.
Children, external websites and changes
The guide is intended for a general adult travel-planning audience. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so the situation can be reviewed. External websites operate independently; review their policies before sharing information. This policy may be updated as the site or its practices change. The effective date above identifies the published version.
