Florida is home to two types of bioluminescence, which varies from season to season. In the colder months, the Bioluminescent Comb-Jellyfish takes over our lagoons. These creatures have a unique ability to light up and glow from the water. On our tour, you will get a chance to hold them and watch them light up. Don’t worry though, these jellyfish don't sting!
In the summer, the dinoflagellate plankton are present and turn the water into a bright neon blue. Every stroke from your paddle creates a beautiful ripple, neon effect. Watch fish swim underneath your clear kayak as they dart by like shooting stars. You might even see dolphins jump from the water, which looks like fireworks.

Meeting and pickup information
- At the end of the gravel road, look for a white van and or a black truck that says “Florida-Adventurer.” Our helpful guides will be waiting for you. Please arrive 30 mins prior to your tour time for check-in and orientation. There are no refunds or rainchecks for late arrivals.
